PATIENT FACTORS Beyond national initiatives, strategies addressing the needs of individual patients must be developed to fully realize the elimination of racial and ethnic disparities. For example, minorities should be encouraged to expand their social networks. Developing heterogeneous social networks will provide greater opportunities and information regarding transplantation.
