Hemoptysis, Anemia and Respiratory Failure: DISCUSSION
Pulmonary complications of leukemia are common, occurring in up to 80% of patients with the disease. The spectrum ranges from microscopic infiltration of leukemic cells into the lung parenchyma to atypical infection, alveolar hemorrhage, alveolar proteinosis or complications of therapy.
